INGREDIENTS:
50g Butter
50g Castor Sugar
1 Egg Yolk
Flavouring Essence
50g Self-Raising Flour
50g Plain Flour
1/4 Level Teaspoon Salt
METHOD:
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in flavouring. Add egg yolk, sifted flour and salt. Roll to a thin sheet about 3mm thick and cut into shapes as required. Bake in a moderate oven (190°C) until crisp and brown.
